FORMER Tory chancellor George Osborne now has eight jobs.
The London Evening Standard editor has been made chairman of a panel of advisers to Exor, which owns Juventus football club and has major stakes in Ferrari and Fiat Chrysler cars.
He is already paid around £200,000 to edit the newspaper four days a week, garners £650,000 a year from US investment fund Blackrock, holds three academic posts and is the chairman of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership.
The former Tory MP stood down last year after being fired from his Cabinet role by PM Theresa May as soon as she took office in 2016.
He and the then-PM David Cameron were responsible for making damaging cuts to welfare and public spending.
Mr Osborne was paid nearly £800,000 for 12 speeches for Washington Speaker’s Bureau before he stepped down as an MP, and his earnings since then are undisclosed.
Despite raking it in, at Exor he is in a minority on the company’s eight-strong partners’ council as he is not a billionaire.
