MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: National Conference leaders Hunslet ARLFC were held to a 24-24 draw at Rochdale Mayfield but still top the league by two points from Siddal who romped to a 42-6 win at Thatto Heath.

Third-placed West Hull lost 19-24 to York Acorn, Wath Brow beat of Kells 22-14, Heworth edged to a 24-22 win at bottom club West Bowling and struggling Lock Lane remain winless after going down 40-10 in Egremont.

SPEEDWAY: Belle Vue host bottom of the table King’s Lynn tomorrow evening for the return leg of their Premiership clash.

King’s Lynn have yet to pick up a point this season and lost out 48-42 from a winning position with three heats to go when the teams met last Thursday.

Birmingham will also be looking for their first win when they take on Leicester at their Perry Barr stadium in tonight’s other meeting.

NETBALL: There’s no change at the top of the Super League after table-topping Manchester Storm comfortably saw off Leeds 67-37 and Mary Cholhok shot 48 goals in second-placed Loughborough’s 68-52 win at the Severn Stars.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Cronulla won 34-22 at bottom club South Sydney to top the NRL with Melbourne level on points in second after they squeezed past Canterbury 16-14.

New Zealand Warriors came from eight points down in the last two minutes to draw 24-24 with Manly-Warringah and the teams could not be separated in the extra golden point period.

St George won 24-12 at Wests and Canberra edged Gold Coast 21-20 on Sunday.
