Greta Thunberg keeps her cool over trump’s Twitter rant

TEENAGE environmental activist Greta Thunberg responded to US President Donald Trump’s angry outburst at her selection as Time magazine’s Person of the Year by saying she was just “chilling.”

Mr Trump — a previous recipient of the award — aimed his ire at the 16-year-old Swede yesterday, claiming she had an “anger management problem” and that she should “chill.”

He tweeted angrily: “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

Footage showing Ms Thunberg staring down Mr Trump when he arrived at the United Nations climate summit in September went viral and provoked an angry outburst from the belligerent billionaire.

Ms Thunberg responded by changing her Twitter status to: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

Speaking at a UN climate change summit in Madrid before the announcement, she urged world leaders to stop using “creative PR” to avoid real action on the environment.
